180sx handbrake extenders

good morning everyone.

does anyone know where i can get these from?

they are the little metal pieces that fit to the handbrake spring in the rear calipers of the 180's, that actuate the pad.

i have found them on japan - uras tutsinogi for over 100£
and found them in australia on ebay, for 25£ which is a good price, but with 60£ worth of shipping.

does anyone use them/know where i can get them cheaper?

yes, i think its a good idea, someone in europe starts manufacturing them

I was going to knock something up myself last year but never got round to doing it.

Not a difficult job to modify the standard ones

i also thought of that, but having in consideration the force i have to apply on the handle to lock anything, i would say that the part would have to be pretty well modified. strong welding and plate strengthning
