See the blue plate on the second pic its just round to the left of that, the pressure switch itself is laying just in front of the sandwich plate, I'll get a better pic if you want though.

its fixable mate i made a plate up and bought a piece of tube cut a hole in the panel and welded it half way through to save a cooler pipe constantly moving in it.

Got my Brian Crower valve springs so fitted them today just basically needing to get my head gasket sorted out and thats the engine ready to go together and back in! still thinking of going with the Cosworth 1.5mm.

Time is getting limited as the sun came out the other day and now everyone wants their bikes serviced/repaired so ill need to see to them first as they are in the garage and my car is outside

Tonight i got the exhaust side all on just waiting on inlet gaskets and plugs then thats it.

like a plonker i spent a while looking for the top chain guide in the head, i never knew that Nissan stopped fitting these after 98.

Radiator arrived today, so i spent tonight hooking everything else up. left the cooler hoses off as il crank it over and make sure theres plenty of oil flow to the filter, and then the head before i actually run it. all im waiting on is oil now and should be here tomorrow or friday.

So hopefully the next update will be good news

    Good news!

took it out for the first time today, around 4 miles up a back road but was good to be back on the road again

its a little rough on idle, still to put a cross in the inlet by the afm to help that hopefully, a blow from the flexi on the downpipe and a healthy dose of vvt which is annoying to say the least. it never had it until it ran low on oil on the way to Horsham last time, since then it has rattled at idle it seems noisier than before altho hard to say as it was so long ago.

wondering if the stronger valve springs are possibly to blame for that
