New user 0 posts wants to buy item for £75 off me. For some reason he has bank tfr'd me 150 and sent a pm last night saying please send back 75. I work for a bank and yes the money is in my ac cleared (it appears). Normally cannot be taken back out.
Is there something i'm missing? New scams etc? Just a bit weird that a 150 figure goes in. Not even that 75 has gone in twice.....

ask someone who works in a bank ..... oh hang on
can he get any more information from you tansfering money to him, than you gave to him?
£75 and £150 are very different numbers, and not easily typed wrong. if he sent a different amount like £65 then its easy to hit 6 as its next to 7. but not £150. but on the same note you cant hold the extra cash. find a different way to send the money back, send him a cheque from a different person/account.

Like you I dont like the sound of any of this!!! I dont know how the banking system works but having to resend money back to someone just sounds like the foreign country scams i.e you give him £75 back and a few days later the bank re-calls £150.
Cant you give him a paypal payment at least that maybe protected?
There would be no guarantee that he was ebay member t2990 anyway. It sounds a bit suspicious to me. The cheque does sound like a good idea.
So from his ebay feedback we can see he has a Starlet with a knackered headgasket, a S13, lowered with new plugs, a blackberry smartphone, a knackered laptop and a fcuking great big hungry dog!
Seems legit.
