Does anyone do it?
Does anyone do it?
god no !!! ... tired it once ... hated it .. sooo slow and dull, and annoying ... if they could make a high intensity, high speed yoga, that would be awesome ...
My missus loves it ..... but she loves anything that involves moving like a sloth
Its good for you though .... improves core strenth, balance and flexibility ... there is a lot to be said about it physically .. possibly mentally if you can keep from loosing it through bordom
Yup started doing it this year, mostly just basic stuff to give it ago but has found it helps relax me an calm me an my mind.
I've not done it for a while, but hoping to start again next month, found it helped me out with my back pain and increased my flexibilty as I was finding all my joints where getting tight, now that I've stopped doing it they're tightening up again so be good to see if it helps again once I start.
Just go slow and steady and you'd be alright, the woman who teaches us always makes sure we're not over doing it, some people might only be able bend a little, others can bend in half.

Right how do I go about finding a good group/guru and how much is it likely to cost? How many times a week do I have to go?
you forget that if you are going ..... then there is a likelyhood that other blokes will be going .... blokes that think yoga is fun .... vegetarians and the like.
At some point you WILL end up positioned watching a mans arse bob up and down right in front of you ... no amount of meditation will erase the pain !!!!
Thats OK. I've learned to completely swich off my brain. Its called marriage and I had 20 years of practise. 20 minutes of vegetarian arsebags is no problem
I found a beginners course at my local gym. £6.45 for an hour. Does that sound about right? Starts Saturday.
Yes ... My wife pays £7 for an hours boredom
I cant
My old work used to offer a lunch time session so I went along.
It's harder than it looks/sounds Did always feel good afterwards
I need to do something useful, something that will help physically and hopefully mentally, and I need to get out a bit more.
Survived and enjoyed it.
Actually got to look up a womans top in one position and got a proper eyeful of bappage.
I'm going back next week!
