    S13 with 14 hubs - coilys ?

    Hi guys ,

If i have s14 hubs fitted to a 180sx does it still use normal s13 coilovers or do you need to modify / swap anything to make them fit ?

    Cheers

Sleeve the hubs or drill out the coilovers from 12 to 14mm and use S14 bolts.

You can get it on eBay - cost about £4 to mod the s14 hubs... I used stainless tube and cut to length and pushed it in... Used a cheap pipe cutter and file to finish it off easy to do...

Do not drill out your s13 coilovers and use s14 bolts !!!

I couldn't find any 14mm tube on eBay when I looked

You need a tube 14mm OD and 12mm ID.

I'm going to use some copper heating pipe, cut a slide in it and ram it into the hub.

    It's a pig to drill correctly, plus you'll need a 14mm bit

Very easy to change from M12 to M14 do it all the time. Its never a problem. Depending on where you order you could ask for S13 rear S14 front? nothing to change then

Re sale value of the coilovers being messed up... That for a start

Putting in a small sleeve is so easy and a cheaper option than drilling !!! Second reason

I got 12mm ID steel tube with 1mm wall thickness from B&Q for this job a few years ago.
