    DW CS2's vs. BC/apex Gen2's

    Hello sxoc,

Anybody prefer one set over the other? Who's tried both to compare?
Are the CS's worth the extra £400 buck for a track toy?

    Views and Recommendations please

I have cs2s on my s14, having come from daiyamas (japspeed).

They're excellent, very firm but surprisingly compliant from higher spring rates of 9/7, not crashy or jiggly and handle very well on track. Another plus would be the new camber & castor top mounts that dw do. I'd recommend them highly but probably not for doing the daily drive unless you're keen. (I have dailied them and I can bear them, just, as I live close to work and we're only a small island anyway)

Also worth noting, I took them off after 8 months, nothing has worn out and all the collars free'd off easily without me greasing the threads at all even when i fit them. The only aesthetic let down would be the coating has come off the helper springs and look a bit tatty.

Can't comment on apex but my mate has them on his s14a, from what I see they work well and apart from a seized collar or two they've been fine for the past 4 years.
