Looking good! Always keen to know how people will run the exhaust when doing jz transplants.

Been having my Subframe and tension rod brackets braced.... should be in colour by tomorrow
The Car is now at GT Motorcars getting re assembled...
Pedals, Steering column, t7 heater matrix and Wiring loom put back in. Ian from Quantum will be back next week to finish up.
Engine is back on the engine stand for a bottom end freshen up. Arp bolts and Crevite big end bearings.
Also check out the modded sump to clear the ARB
Fitted the bumper and lower light panel..
Just waiting on Suspension arms and brakes and work will progress very quickly....
No real updates been majorly waiting on parts which sucks massively.
However had a few bits painted while been waiting, a bit different to whats normally done, Rear s14 subframe, front subframe and tension rod brackets all been undersealed and then painted over. has a textured finish but seems like it will be super durable.
had the GTR Diff and DW solid diff bushes fitted up also.
Tension rod brackets with bracing painted...
Rear subframe with bracing now attached and painted
Fair bit of progress, still missing parts but Graeme at GT motorcars has been cracking on with what he has.
Engine is in for the final time... i Hope...

Sexy turbo blanket
Huge thanks to Graeme and Jamie at Gtmotorcars and the amount of work they have put in to it so far.
Those brakes are very good but are you using the s13/skyline style drum handbrake mechanism? Only the ones I've seen that use the calliper mounted handbrake are not strong enough to hold the weight of an sx parked. Had a friend with them a while ago now and his car failed MoT as they do not have enough breaking effort to pass that either.
It's a shame as they work really well on track.
Having ogled lots of build threads, this is definitely one of the most impressive I have seen. Well done!
Those rear wheels are HHHUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGE !!!!
M.D - I have stripped the handbrake mech of both s13 and wilwood as im 99% sure this car will never see the road again, do u mean just for MOT and usual handbrake use there weak? I only need them to lock up the rears on the hydro so i hope they will be ok..? what do you think?
Thanks i hope its worth it all in the end!
I know i hope they fit :S lol
Whoop! Another member of team 12J lol.
What spec are your rears? I just fitted 18x12-7. Needed kouguchi +70mm wings and 275/35 tires to get them even close to fitting.
Mine are 18x12 et 20 (i think), prob about -10 with spacer with the adjustable lower arms extended and 14 subframe i think i am gonna have to come down on the spacer or it will never fit lol
