    gear box change?

hi all, I'm new to the forum (but not to forums)

iv tried searching using the search function but as usual it brings up nothing

I'm looking for advice on how to and how much it would likely cost to change either an s13 or a 14a from an auto gearbox to a manual one??

I'm pretty mechanical minded and have plaed with bits and bobs... for example iv swapped over rear subframes on an r33 before and removed the gearbox from an s13.... however iv never gone this deep

reason im asking is im lookinf for either a 13 or 14a but want a manual, can only find auto's at the price i want mileage i want and condition i want

any 'useful' help would be greatly appreciated chaps n chapesses

    ta in advanced

    Ben

    Flywheel £25 -£50 used
Flywheel bolts New they are about £8 each x 6 or 8.
    Complete clutch £100
Spigot bearing for end of crankshaft £5
    Gear lever £10 used

Plus the bits already mentioned. There used to be a guide/ sticky at the top of this forum covering it.

You dont need the ECU, a manual will run on an auto ECU but not the otherway round.
