    s14a boosting problem

I expect its already been posted but i cant find it,
I have a 14a s reg, some reason about a months ago its stop boosting to how it used to, btw i have a stage 1a horsham chip and all mods needed for it,
have a profec b boost controller fitted, and its only reaches 0.65 on it,
Have check pipes no boost leak,
have changed boost soilnoid and its the same
    Check vacuum hoses all ok
    Check and changed the actuator,
Next thing i have been suggested to check its the waste gate, someone told me these sometimes have problems where they don't shut.

and other help would much appreciated
    thanks

Take a picture of the bit that the actuator slots over so we can see its position.

Try disconnecting the actuator alltogether and see if it reaches a bar. Be quick to back off so you don't damage anything

Think my mate tried that one.
Think it's time for the turbo to come out.

Hi mate did you actually do a boost leak test or just a visual inspection of boost pipes?

    Well just check pipe work.
Car runs 100% ok. If it was a boost leak wouldn't it run really bad.

Yer true you'd prob get some spluttering on full throttle, mine had a boost leak and on idle was fine and no spluttering boost spiked abit then dropped off a couple of psi, done a boost leak test and found quite a big leak from the intercooler. other than that gota be turbo off time.

Found the problem with mine. Some how the exhaust side of the turbo have broken its fins.
    Dunno how really.
Anyway have changed and put another turbo on it. And changed and put a forged acuator on it.
Do I have to adjust the acuator to get it to produce the 1.2 bar I require or will the profec do all thg bit.
Cause it doesn't seem to be boosting again.
Lets hope it's not gone again.

    Thanks Anthony.

Wind the actuator up to 1bar and set the rest with the boost controller.
