upgrading turbo on glanza. question about injectors?
hi asking this on behalf of a freind who is fitting a td04 turbo on his glanza. does anyone know what size standard s13 injectors are? is it 370cc? and does anyone know if they will fit on a toyota starlet glanza? thanks

I had a Starlet with a TD04 and tbh you wont need to upgrade injectors or pump unless your running mental boost above 1.5bar which I wouldnt recommend on a stock engine.
I was running 1.2 bar with stock FPR, injectors but with an uprated pump as I had one lying around.

Also CA18DET injectors are 370cc and low impedance. Starlets are high impedance so will require resistors.
Supra and RX7 are common upgrade injectors for them

Cool thanks mate that's some good info

I would upgrade them anyway as running them at full tilt will only cause them to fail sooner, just make sure there's a fuel cut defender an upgraded fuel pump and fpr fuel cut in those is like getting hit in the back of the head with a brick lol

I've seen several with scoob turbos on now. They make silly power too with very little mods.

I'm sure OEM is only about 270cc. I bought these for mine way back in 2005 and never did:
Was told they were a direct fitment upgrade:

TD04 ones make about 220hp-250hp. I wouldn't push it too hard unless it has a forged engine. Stock doesn't like going much over 240-250bhp.
Guy who runs the UK Starlet Owners forum, Socks, has 385hp out of his....with it still being a 1.3

Pm a guy on here called McLean, he lives round the corner from me and had an awesome little glanza that was fully forged.
