Adrian Flux your website is sh1te!

Trying to sort out my girlfriends insurance.

Have tried 3 times in last hour, on two different laptops, and keeps bombing out and just saying "submitting details please wait could take a minute" and still nothing 10 mins later, that is either when adding another driver or submitting quote.

Fed up of trying now, used other websites instead no problems.

    That is all

I see the opposite point, i have just proved they need on call engineers and that lucky guy who gets called out probably gets several grand per year for on call and as such can now buy his kids great Christmas presents, and a lovely bath, so his Mrs does not leave him and result in a broken family, so his kids won't grow up and rob your car thus keeping insurance premiums down for us all

Now the website is worse than sh1te because it won't even let you do a standard car quote.

Every fooking screen pops up trying to force a call back.

If I wanted to speak to you I'd call, but I want to do it online as it suits me better and you ar preventing this.

AF are going from good to deal with to a total pain in the ar5e!

    Take your business elsewhere.

Simples. (And no, I'm not recommending you give it to an Eastern European meerkat )

When your car gets a bit older, you can have the pleasure of dealing with Lancaster. Their website works beautifully

But it's well known they are only competitive if you ring, aren't they?

If you want to do it online, that's what confused.com is for.

    I didn't think confused.com did broker business

    Maybe I'm wrong.

You're not, but you've hit the nail on the head in doing so - you want proper broker business, pick up the ****ing phone!

I can't pick up the fcuking phone as people are saying, because I am getting the quote for Mrs Scottie, so unless I get someone to kick me hard in the nads before I make the phone call, they might twig I am not Ms Hill.

Whereas she has given me all her details and authrised me to get online quotes for her.

Just not from AF whcih is a shame as one of my other cars is with AF who where competitive.

Lancaster are a broker Quoted me on their website £278 fully comp with no NCD for one of my S13s called me after I took the policy to make sure I was happy (a 10 second courtesy call) and I got the paperwork two days later.

If the quote is agreed value or the car is heavily modified then, yes, there is an argument that it needs a personal service but tell me, what do most brokers do when you call them ?

They charge you premium rate to ask questions and type your answers into the computer

So you're acting as her broker, eh ?

Would they allow me to phone up on her behalf? Or am I back to a heavy kick in the nads?

You could try pliers. That might be a bit less permanent and you wouldn't get the swellings in your neck.
