    Tommy Kaira M25 Skyline

This was a spur of the moment purchase as i never planned to buy a skyline but as it came up at a good price for such a good spec and condition i just had to get it, even better its a rare Tommy Kaira edition
Even tho its in a good condition overall with low mileage it can do with a tidy up and in my opinion change the look of it to make it my own.
I just hope this car dosent replace the love i have for my 200sx.

How she looks when i got it home

    Little update

After taking the car down the garage I desided to lower it 30mm all round.
    Harder said than done tho

I'm running out of room in the shed lol

As I feared all of them were seized solid and from past experience I know how hard it was going to be.
So I took them off and got them in the vice and set to work

After going through a lot of WD-40, three C-spanners and breaking a vice that has served me well for over 6 years I finally lowered it. However one of the rear coilover bottom mounts stripped all its thread but as I was lowering it i still have 30mm of thread.

Whilst the wheels were off I had a look at the rear subframe and for its age it is in really good condition

    Hardly any surface rust.

As I don't like the Rays wheels on the skyline I've decided to borrow the wheels off the SX until I buy some XXR 526s for her.

Next job was to tidy up the engine bay as it was letting the car down.
Someone had tried to spray the strut tops BADLY! Also the alloy was oxidising.

I stripped the inner arches and slam panel and rubbed them back ready for paint.

As I also love a bit of engine bling I found a company that makes a few stainless steel engine bay bits.

Drivers side inner arch painted and some bling fitted

    I painted some brackets

Anyway this is how it looks after I've painted the intake, rocker covers and pipes also with the addition of more shiny bits

Looks a lot better I think, however excuse the monster decal don't know why I did that lol

Got to get a few more dress up bits like hose etc

It's been a couple of years and I've had some good times with the car.

Been to a few shows and now after being off the road for 6 months due to manifold gasket I've decided to give it a once over.

The rear arches have started to rot and are two bad to roll to fit new wheels so wanted arches but only available are jun style or gtr ones.

I have s13 ones kicking about so thought why not.
