Just to add to the sale. Andy at SPA is a really good guy who has built tons of motors in his time. He used to look after my stagea when i had it (drove all the way from Essex to near enough eastbourne for his work). Just go check out his customers feedback on SO and SOC

Good that you've taken the time to show stripped down pics to prove its genuine mate, 2 people on skylineowners recently ripped off to the tunes of 4k and 10k buying nothing but a half a tonne of scrap metal sold as freshly rebuilt and tuned up RB26's.

Not disputing whether it has been rebuilt or not, but, just out of interest, if the rings have been replaced why have the bores not been honed?

Edit: sorry I didnt read the description fully, you state that it has been honed, but the pictures show no evidence of that

Looks like it's been honed to me. It's just grease in the bores.

Sorry mate, but its not, there is still a carbon lip at the top of the bores where the rings would finish their stroke,

again, not trying to annoy anyone or anything just saying what i'm seeing

spoke to the garage and the guy who rebuilt the engine, and can confirm they were honed. you are correct near the top lip there is still carbon, that was left intentionally.

if you want to know why, you can speak to Andy at SPA, on 01323 760 076.
