Looking great mate, must admit i'm not sold on the driftworks stickers on the bodywork, would look way better in the front and rear windows running vertically imho

Look forward to seeing it sideways

Yeah you know it will !

Had a call from the mot centre. "What model is this? We cant find it on the mot database"
Second call from the mot centre. "Is the car in mph or Km?"

    Oh dear.

Yeah unless the car gets some sort of sponsorship for any reason it will just be clean.
    Already taken sticker off windows.

Had alot to do in a shirt time. There is no way it will pass though.

    So it passed

Happy days, sunday turbo has to come out as I have an oil leak from the same ****ing place grrrrrrrr.

Took some time wwith the paint on the wings today. The car cover flapping about didnt do it any favours.
Did 2 passes with the autoglym paint restorer and 2 passes with the super resin polish.

    Not a bad finish tbh.

Next job on sunday is turbo out & boost controller in

Full of the cold today so got home a little early.
Desided noy to waste the light and installed my gizzmo boost controller.

These are ok when running a decent actuator. Make the actuator do all the work and this to fine tune lol.

I think this looks oem lol

Today I fitted a new set of pads. I think some of the rust on the disk must have in bedded into the pad and squeeking like fook.
Also sealed decat as I had a bit of a blow.

Boot locking mechanism to look at now.
Weather isnt good enough to plasti dip the wheels yet.

After lowering the car on coilovers it was set too low. After a quick shake down at driftland found that it was scuffing through arch loom.

Raised the car up 10mm and feels good to drive.

Loom repair is next on the list of things to do.

Gap'd the plugs to 0.7 and noticed the boost hose to the controller was split, cut and replaced hose.
Actuator was adjusted to 1 bar although the Owen developments ajustable does not have as much adjustment as the HKS one I had. Fail!
I may have to purchase a forge one from Mark as I want the actuator set to 1.2 bar.

Purchased a new Japspeed Adjustable Decat pipe as the ebay homemade pipe does not fit very well. The flanges are not sealing properly

New Boss to fit my Nardi wheel arrived and will fit that tonight.

2 new tyres fitted to rear as i shredded the road tyres at driftland.

Spent 1 day trying to make best with the paint on the drivers side. 2 Passes with Autoglym paint reduv. 2 Passes with Poor boys black hole and 2 passed with poor boys wax.

    Pic:

Next week or so I will have to get the new RPS clutch in. Although the old clutch is not slipping I think that any sort of drift action will shred it.
