What pads did you get John?
What pads did you get John?
Just Std ones.
The ones I has were squeeeeeeking like fook.
Have R33 front calipers. Same sized pads to the s15
Turn the nissan badge on the steering wheel...so its straight o.0
Fooooooook offffffff
hahaha straight badges = win
Haha I have fixed it just for you Jeff.
So lots have happened in the last month or so.
Jonny sorted a private drift day at Driftland which was mega seat time.
S15 did better than I thought after the boost and coilover issues.
first few runs car switched into third and smoked out the track. I started to loose power and the gear change started to be rough and struggled to get into third.
Found that the turbo elbow studs had worked there way loose. after a cool down tightened it up and back on form.
Box still a bit ropey and clutch had taken a real beating as the handbrake was non existent.
Pics from the day
Things needed to be changed before FINALBOSS
New clutch in
New Rear brakes
I picked up an RPS competition clutch a while back as I didnt think the exeddy would handle the power.
I picked up an R33 rear calliper d disk set up with cables.
Had Hel Brake lines made at wallace performance 280mm as Dan at db poer did not have any.
Jonny mac to the rescue.
Jonny, mark, stevie set to work to change the clutch & flywheel.
We soon found out that the box was on its way out so I went and got the NA box that I still had from the original engine.
Rear brakes
Stevie it a stumbling block when trying to pull the hub so we have to do this another day.
Cant thank theses guys enough for all their hard work.
Great vid of the day from Graeme and mike palmer

Haha stu was there too lol
I still have this lol.
Done.****.all lol
Soooooo i finally have a handbrake !
Rear R33 set up now fitted, needs bleed a bit better but a job for another day.
Pulling the hub was a joke and took hours!
After stevie b helping bleed the rear brakes we set up the rear handbrake.
Locks like a boss.
Exhaust rear box swapped as the baffles were rattling
Car needs an oil change and fueling checked before next drift day.
Rolling road planned on Wednesday night to check fueling.
Roll on the drift
After a successful drift day. no issues to report. Due to the vented bonnet I did not see over 90 degrees.
After fitting the stage three stuff my idle has always been ropey. After talks with mark we decided to take a look at the injector latency.
Being Nismo 740cc the Internet states Nistune should show 660.
Mine is set to that. However many other tuners set latency at 720-850. What ever makes the idle smoothest.
That's one thing I'm going to do today.
Next step is to see why my heating fan is not blowing. I think it's an earthing problem. But will take it out and have a look at the pin out.
After speaking with mbautomotive, I now have my idle sweet as a nut on the 740cc injectors
Ive bought a new hks ajustable actuator that I still have to fit.
Then book russ at performance hq to map it with the new cams.
Can't wait for the results of usable torque
Will prob go away for the winter after a drift day or 2.
