Sounds like you inflicted just the right amount of damage too. You wouldn't want a potential GBH (or worse) hanging over you, but this might just be enough (as others have said) to make the little $%^£$s think twice another time.

Well today of all days i had my Falling Down moment

Took Mrs C and the girls for a days shopping in Manchester . All was fine and we met up for lunch where the girls handed over the shopping they had purchased so i could put it in the car and they could carry on unencumbered

It is from this point forward that my Falling Down moment started

Walked to the lifts to go up to the 9th level to my car pressed the up button and waited for lift to come up from the lower floor

Doors open and i step in already in the car are 3 youths i turn and press the button for the 9th floor as the door closes the guy behind me hit me on the back of my neck causing me to stumble forward and the other 2 lads to grab at my shopping
Then the shit hit the fan and i saw red mist

I raked the guy behind me along his shin with my boot as i stamped on his foot elbowed the middle one on the nose and grabbed the furthest one to me by his front jkt collar and slammed him against the lift doors which opened up again on too the main shopping floor .

The one i had cracked on the nose fell out of the door screaming he was going to beat the s**t out of me , the one with the shin was on the floor crying and holding his leg and i was shaking the other like a rag doll , Matey with the nose trys to run at me back ito the lift so i kicked him square in the bollacks game over

Next thing there are 2 off duty security guards and a bystander rush to my aid along with 4 other dressed security guards who take the one im throttling and have to pin him to the floor

All sorts of yelling and shouting from the lads about me attacking them racially abusing them and why dont i go out side for a proper fight where they can sort me out

I then get escorted to the security suite by 2 guards who all the time are asking if i am ok and not to worry it will be fine plenty of witnesses said it was self defence on my part and the police are on there way

Get interviewed by the police in the back of van i decided to decline pressing charges so i signed the officers book and was sent on my merry way to carry on shopping

I`m home now and have just started to shake thinking of what might have happened but there was no way i could let them have Mrs C shopping ( She had been seen in M&S lingery dept and no asking for pics )

Fair play for having a go Dave,not many people would stand up to one attacker let alone 3

Just as well none of them had a knife - if they'd have got the bag,shit really would have hit something!

If the Judo kid had been there it would have been even more one sided i was watching her practice Kata v Sword - Stave - Knife and its getting more scary her speed and strength and technique

well done fella! don't beat yourself up about it... even if you did just hand over the shopping, you still would of been stuck in there with those test tube babies till you reached your floor! that would have been awkward!!! just rest easy in the knowledge that you stood up to 3 pratts and still kept hold of your shopping! my hats off to you mate!!!
