Back in the panzer devision...all show and some go...

Well I loved the immediate power of the golf but it needed too many annoying little jobs doing and my ski stuff just wasn't going to fit comfortably in a 3 door car...

    So....

Back in an estate car, a 328i manual touring in black. Not that many black 46's kickin around which is nice as lets be honest, 3 series tourings are everywhere!

It is mid polish and valet.....Nice to have a car I want to keep minty fresh for a change! Rear section of exhaust is going to be modifed to take twin pipes all the way through as e46's stupidly reduce to a single pipe after the cats.

Might change the wheels for something a little less "bruv"...otherwise minor tweaks. Gonna give a light smoked tint to the tail lights and fit smoked front indicators....

    What do we think?
    Alex

Looks nice as is with the wheels and practical/useable stance ,maybe de-chrome round side windows and a bit of tint can see it working on a black car
The exhaust would bug me as well if was mine, any restriction is evil and so must be destroyed,(or removed)

Rears catch over big bumps.....only very slight but beemers are crap for arch rust so I would sooner raise it 3mm to cure the issue.

If I kept them I think centres would go gunmetal....

Exhaust I'm thinking shotgun style....Won't be horrible with both cats still in but loud enough to sound like its got some poke.

Please don't "shotgun" the exhaust. That only (just) works on kitted jap cars with graphics and wings etc. Not stock bodied Euro estate cars A loud home made exhaust is much more "bruv" than some ACS wheels IMO

To be honest, I'd give the rear arches a little roll to accomodate the wheels, de-chrome the window surrounds and as you say, paint the wheel centres. Done in my eyes

I don't mean shotgun style like out at an angle and stepped cut....I meant just twin straight cut straight exit 2.25" pipes....like one side of the e46 M3 exhaust. Whether or not to have a silencer is the question.

Ahh, thank feck for that You can always remove a silencer if its too quiet. Nothing wrong with that

Adding a silencer because its too loud though, thats for girls

Bruv, I think the wheels make the car...

    Genuine schnitzer wheels or replicas?

Love it. Tint the windows, smoked indicators, sport front bumper then it's perfect .

No point in the sport front bumper as snow drifts will rip it appart....maybe after I come back, yes.
