    1JZ Nissan Silvia - 360bhp/380ft lb - £7k

I’ve just purchased a house so unfortunately the car has to go.
I’m currently debt free (well excluding the mortgage ) and would like to keep it that way! So running 2 cars isn’t really an option right now.

Had the car just over 3 years now and replaced a few bits and pieces!
I’m the first UK owner, and before I even picked it up the car was undersealed. It was an N/A auto shell that’s been converted. Mileage on the shell appears to be around 70,000 KM’s, and the engine about 60,000 miles.
It is stupidly clean on the underside, and the only bits of rust that need a bit of TLC are on the inside of the boot floor, where a missing bung let a little water in, and in the engine bay where the front mount pipes go down to the core. (Blame the vented bonnet!) Nothing more than surface rust for both areas.

Note – The car will come on a set of 4x R33 GTR’s or similar, the Nismo LMGT4’s, and set of Enkei ABC Exclusives will be coming off and going elsewhere.

I’ll be totally honest the paintwork is dire. I’d planned to have the whole car fully resprayed and to change the kit, but in the end never got round to it.
The car will come with a brand new never fitted Chargespeed front + rear bumper, with the sideskirts to match. (I’m looking to shift the lot as I’d like my garage back)

The original 1JZ was suffering from low compression so a replacement was sourced.
Greg @ Protuner carried out all the work, the replacement engine was sourced with aprox 60k on the clocks.
Whilst it was there this is the job list of work carried out.
    Camshaft oil seals
    Fitting Stealth Aeromotive fuel pump
    Fitting of multi layer MHG
    Valve steam oil seals
    Fuel filter
    Oil + filter
    Fitting Supra 440cc injectors
    Fabricating exhaust flexi pipe
Fabricating new downpipe/crossover pipe to meet new exhaust
    Fitting HKS timing belt
Fitting + dialing in HKS 264 in/out cams
Fitting + mapping HKS FCon V-Pro ECU
Fitting + setting up Dakota digital convertor for the rev counter
    Replacing front mount core
    Fitting new exhaust
    Fitting Ultra Racing Cefiro ARB
    Replacing rear driveshafts
    Repaired alternator wiring
    Replaced all coilpacks

As the turbo is still an unknown it was mapped fairly conservatively.
    360bhp + 380 ft lb torque at 1.0 bar.

    Specs

    1998 Nissan Silvia (14a) – Kuro Black.
    Converted and running a 1JZ-GTE.

HKS 264 In & Out Cams + Pullies (fitted 2 months ago)
HKS Timing Belt (fitted 2 months ago)
URAS Type 4? bodykit fitted, really not the greatest fitting thing, and the front bumper is cable stitched in a few places.
    25mm wider front fenders.
    50mm (maybe wider) rear overfenders.
FRP Masa Motor Sports M-Tune Aero Bonnet.
    Kouki rear wing.
Nismo Coilovers with 8 way topmount adjustment.
    Nismo Pro 2-way
    Nismo front + rear strutbraces
Ultra Racing Nissan Cefiro front ARB (fitted 2 months ago)
Aston Martin DB9 Brembos. – 360mm Grooved disks + pads.
Nissan R32 GTR complete rear setup.
Front mounted intercooler (replacement core fitted 2 months ago)
Japspeed Catback exhaust (fitted 2 months ago)
Japspeed De-cat (fitted 2 months ago)
    Half/rear roll cage
Sparco Evo2Plus fitted to a Bride drivers subframe.
Sparco Torino Recliner fitted to a Bride passengers subframe.
Driftworks harnesses fitted to both seats.
Nardi Deepcorn 330mm suede wheel, fitted with 60mm quick release.
    Apexi EL2 60mm boost gauge.
    4300k HID’s + LED sidelights.
Full laser alignment done at H-Dev (Horsham Developments) last year.
    MOT’d until August 2013.
    Taxed until March 2012.

    Bad points
The paintwork + general fitting of the kit isn’t great at all, but I’m chucking in a brand new unfitted kit, so all you've gotta do is pick the colour of your choice and go crazy!
Solid shell, and it's all cosmetic.

There is a slight vibration through the wheel and under braking at certain speeds. This has been tracked down to the front brake discs. When they were drilled the holes were made ever so slightly too large, so it just needs a set of spigot rings to be knocked up, or you could always replace the discs and have the holes drilled to the correct size.

Cracked rear light, but it'll come with a replacement.

Speedo not working, pretty sure it's just not connected up, but it's never bothered me as I've just used my Sat-Nav. I'll chuck my road angel in with the car.

£7k for the car + new kit, and 4x S14 stock wheels if you want them.

Just to add, yes I've just purchased a house and will be completing in a few weeks, but I'm not desperate to sell! So let's not have the usual 'what's your best price mate? & 'lowest price' PM's.

The car is located near Tadley. Viewings more than welcome, any test drives will be subject to fully comp insurance, and the funds in hand.

Pictures will be going up shortly, the majority of them are still on my camera at home so I'll see what I've got on my phone/photobucket!

    It's certainly different!
But I refuse to get into debt (well aside from a big fat mortgage... ) over a car so needs must.

I couldn't turn up to an SXOC meet in a 200! That's not how it works.

    Thanks

I know. It's amazing how much houses cost and I've not even moved in yet!

I'm listening... What bonnet are you running these days?

    Your plan, I like it...

We'll have to teach him to hold a spanner first mind.

Nope still here! All the hard work is already done the conversion is already done and in!

Now will come on the Nismo LMGT4's on the front and the ABC Exclusives on the rear.

    Bttt!

Insurance is up in a few weeks, if it's not gone by then it'll go into hibernation in the heated garage.

The battery has had it and needed replacing.

So a replacement has just been fitted.

Wouldn't mind if it was gone before the 21st as that's when the insurance is up for renewal.

    Price dropped to £6800.
