Way too late for this guy but...
Any of this stuff got identifying marks? Post code, reg number, last 6 digits of chassis number? Engraved, smartwater or UV marker?
They do seem to be reading forum specs and it makes them say "I gotta have that motor". All too often its for one night only until the fuel runs out then its burnt out. I'm sure just listing "tracker" in the spec sheet would put most of the scrotes off. Doesn't matter if you have or haven't got one they read the list and decide "Er lets go look for another one that's a bit easier and won't phone home".

A datatag kit will go some way. Some places to glue rice tag. In inlet to FMIC still allows signal though silicon hose. Inside strut bracket. On turbo actuator bracket. On body panel behind plastic parts like tail lights or bumper skin.
Car kit has a glass tag. Get additional individual transponders (cycle kits) at about £22 each.

Also be worth having a few shots that casually include UV pen / data dots or other marking system in build photos. Get caught with any marked bits and they will be bang to rights on handling even if you can't get the conviction for actual theft.
So along with the brag sheet "engine", "chassis", "interior", "ICE" everyone posting mods lists should include a section for "protection".
