What does your gizzmo boost controller say ? sr20det.

Need advice please

Done an sr20det into s13, fmic, fbu, pump, air filter, 3"exhaust, Gizzmo ibc, catch tank.

Wondered what readings peoples gizzmo IBC said to them from 2k revs and through to red line. Mine doesnt zero (0.0) until im at basic idle revs, but will stay firmly at 0.2 at a constant speed, revs at 2k with no acceleration.
Max boost is 0.7bar.

Does this sound right?

Normally you'd be reading a minus figure (vacuum) at idle on an EBC and probably still minus at 2k cruising along with no load.

Pretty sure mine reads 0 at idle and until the boost does kick in. Haven't got my car now till next weekend though so can't double check

Mine reads 0.00 on idle and just goes up to max boost its set at. It doesnt sit at any other number

when does your boost start to cut in? , not sure why mine is doing this, any ideas? It doesnt over boost.

Mine reads 0.00 on idle. I guess if there's no boost to read it will say 0.00 until boost starts. I've got a 2871r with .86 rear housing which gives me boost reading at 3.7k when it starts to boost

So the Gizmo doesnt read minus then! Great, i have one to fit into another car here. thought it would have done.

Why doesn't it read a vacuum? Just fitted a blitz SBC ID that I've had for years, (was fitted in my old MR2 T), and that reads minus figures, thought all EBC would?

mine does this on the odd occasion, ive not found what it is.
i find if i stop, switch off, and start the car again. it resets the reading to zero. doesnt do it often, usually only when ive come from a prolonged boost session...

Unless theirs are not plummed in after the TB? If it was before then it wouldnt see vacuum.
