    Audi A8 4.0TDI (4.0 V8 twinturbo diesel)

    Anyone have experience/owned on of these? been offered one as a PX for my Skyline, its an 04 on a 53 plate, and looks very tidy, but although they seem very frugal, i suspect that insurance and tax will be similar, and the thought of spares/repairs is a bit scary, does anything go wrong?

    No direct experience, but a neighbour has the 4.2TDI as the family run around... Nice enough place to be.

    Not sure how you can call it frugal though!
