    calliper brackets

    Hi Dan,

Do you think these would fit the front of an s14 ok?

    http://www.outlawdiscbrakes.com/3000_4000.html
    Specs;
    Housing Material Billet Aluminum
    Disc Diameter 11.75" - 13.00" (298,5 - 330,2 mm)
    Mounting Centers 3.5" (88,9 mm)
Pad Type PFC 751 HB 101
    Inlet Threads 1/8" NPT
    Pad Area 7.21 sq/in. (46,5 sq/cm.)
No. Pistons Four Pad Thickness .80" (20,3 mm)
    Piston Material Stainless Steel
    (Titanium Optional) Weight 3.9 lbs.
    Disc Thickness .38" - .81" - 1.25"
    (9,7 - 20,6 - 31,8 mm)

Would you be able to price a conversion bracket to mount callipers and a suitable disc ~330mm diameter (not ebc).

    Cheers,

    Rich

I think they are Wilwood calipers but just rebranded or similar, the specs are the same as Wilwood ones

What discs were you planning on running

Correction the specs are pretty much identical to the wilwoods. So 330mm discs and brackets and it should all bolt together

    Hi Dan,
Sounds like a stroke of luck that the callipers match your kit.
Do 330's fit under 16s, I have work stark II up front on a et10?

I'm thinking I will be limited to 310/315 with my wheels?

Regard the disc either plain or drilled, not a fan of slotted discs. Also do not like anything ebc as have had poor results in the past.

    Hi Rich

Best best is to measure the inside of the rim, you'll need roughly 370mm matey

    Hi Dan,
Drat and blast, I don't have the cearance for the 330mm discs. Back to the drawing board.

Out of interest will trailing edge calipers function OK in place of the leading edge setup on the S14. Does it matter if the pistons are in order small to large, or large to small, wondering if this effects braking performance or feel in anyway?

    Cheers,

    Rich
