I was only thinking about cannon fodder the other day, awesome

I might throw in The Settlers on the Amiga and also Toe Jam & Earl on the megadrive

Toe jam and earl was absolutely brilliant!

Also another big fan of cannon fodder here, fantastic game. Really wish it could get a re-release on xbla/psn/steam etc, just as it was not remade. It would sell loads I think.

Guessing the licensing is the issue though, as with so many other classics.

Delboy (aka Gheyboy ) - the biggest problem is the license holders. It has been passed around so many times, but I believe Codemasters own most of the IP for Sensible's back catalogue.

You can get Speedball 2 on the iPad if you want (and I do recommend that you do, it's bloody brilliant fun ). It was playing a near-finished build of that enabled me to talk to Mike Montgomery .

Cannon Fodder is an all time classic. Up there with Speedball, Xenon 2 and Sensible Soccer .

Sensible soccer, the ONLY football game I have ever played well...

One question for you Troy, does it upscale ok on the iPad? That would be what I played it on mainly and noticed its not specifically iPad compatible. Some games still look ok when scaled up but some don't work so well.

Thought I'd ask before spending my £1.50 odd
