    I believe they are taller which allows the steering rods to sit closer to horizontal, reducing bump steer in lowered cars as reducing the cars height throws the steering geometry out.

    What he said

    As you lower the car the tie rods start pointing upwwards as they run the the hub. The result is that it takes less suspension travel to effectively shorten the arm length which cause the arm to pull the rear of the hub inboard resulting in toe out.

    Does the pic look crap to anyone else? It looked mint on my work pc but looks massively over exposed on this laptop.

    any idea how much lowering this would accommodate while leaving the tie rods at a 'good' angle?
    white '94 s13 200sx scrapped - mapped to 1.45bar. OS giken box, garrett GT2876R, 950cc injectors, ORC twin plate, nistune. 349bhp/325lbft @ 1.3bar CA18DET
    white '96 s13 180sx - type g with more kouki bits - RB25DET, GTR steel twin turbo conversion, RB26 crank & rods. 2.6L VVT twin turbo, SR20 OSG box, OSG STR twin plate clutch, Z32 ECU w/ nistune.

    current status: 180 a bit broken but to be repaired.

    no problem - how much taller are they? I think that should give a good indicator

    Ive sold the pair we had in stock so I cant compare them now We can get more within 7 days or so, order placed Monday, arrives with us a week on Tuesday.

    Are the balljoints from the same manufacturer as your roll centre correction rear balljoints?

    by the way, are these meant to fit the Z32/tein inner rods or do they fit the S13/s14 thinner ones?

    They fit with the original tie rods, no need to change them.
