kouki rear lights, retro-fitting normal bulbholders

Heard that people have been able to modify their existing bulbholders/kouki lights so that normal bulb holders fit.

However I dont think mine are standard bulb holders (had some gash aftermarket lights fitted)

So was wondering if anyone has gone about modding the kouki lights to accept different bulb holders etc?

If I can save myself £75 I would rather do that tbh

    Any help is appreciated

    Thanks Lewis

take a light down to the scrappies and rob ones out of other cars. I think some varities of lexus fit amongst other things. Shouldnt cost you more than a fiver.

Yup, as dunkz said. I managed to get mine from a lexus gs300 , and a import blob eye impreza.
If you go to post 139 on my project thread you will see what type you will need and how many of each.

If you search ebay they also have new ones for about £5 each, but it cheaper to get them of other cars.
I then just cut up the loom on my old light holders so it just plugged right into the existing loom.

Iirc all the gen 6 celicas have the same bulbs and holders, that's 94-99 models, quite a common car
