    Hi All

    Im Mark (Woody) from Warwickshire.

My daily runner failed its MOT last week so i set out trying to find something to replace it with that would match the MOT repair costs! Found myself a great 94' 200sx S13 Auto. Its completely standard, for the age its surprisingly good condition with the exception of the usual rust including the boot rot.

This was intended as a daily driver but i cant resist doing bits on it. Heres some pics:

Ive owned various cars in the past, one i miss the most is my DC5

I do have some questions, there is the search button but if anyone is able to save me time...

    - Wheres the best place for servicing parts
    - The engine has a tapping sound under acceleration, is this common?
    - Exchanging to Manual, ive seen the topics but what sorts of costs am i looking at?
    - Stage 1 Chips. Seen these around for very cheap, is it really that simple?
    - What drop and alloys can be put straight on?

    Much appreciated,, thanks

    Mark

    Welcome mate

Car looks good and suprisingly standard. Hoping the knocking sound isn't too serious as could be a number of things

I'm sure you are already aware but the chips are a generic map for a set list of mods. Check out horsham developments on here or h-dev.co.uk for a better understanding of them

As for the suspension drop I'd go no lower than -30mm on a standard set up, their are also some nice rims in our "rims and rubber" for sale section right now. I'm not 100% sure on fitment as I have never owned an s13.

For a better response I'd start a thread in the s13 tech section

Love that dc5 by the way
