    Euro 2012

2 days until kick off, my predictions:

    Top Scorer: Huntelaar
    Finalists: Germany vs Holland
    Winners: holland

I've also a small bet on Ireland , Ireland/Keane top scorer out of blind patriotism

We're doing one in work where you've to predict the outcome of loads of stuff and you accumulate points.

I've got Gomez down for top scorer, & Germany to win outright.

    Sounds cool.

I was going to go Germany/Gomez, but it was only 14/1, where holland/huntelaar was 60/1

    Edit: Ireland/Keane was 1250/1

Just stuck a couple on there - Germany/Van Persie and Holland Van Persie doubles, 40/1 and 20/1 respectively.

I am officially German for the next month

    Get your money on

Supposedly he picked the winner of the last two, which included Greece.

This is the lowest expectations an England side have had for ages so we might actually do well

yeah, Ukraine deserved at the very least a draw, but finally some luck coming our way...wish it came against a bigger team though

Glad I pinned all my hopes on RVP....

Pretty lucky with that "goal" tonight but you'd have been mental to think England weren't going through. Not sure what the 5th official is getting paid for if he has one 50/50 decision to make in 90 minutes and gets it completely wrong.

P.S. If any of you guys ever wonder why Scottish people tend to anti-support England, blame the pundits/commentators. Rubbish bastards.

I hope that linesman managed to get a flight out of Ukraine last night Your only job is to see if the ball crosses the line and he couldnt even manage that Congrats to Sweden as well, if only they had beaten Ukraine as well then the French would be going home

We can beat Italy wont get past Germany though in a million years.

We have already done better then most people thought Roy would do anyway so its all 'wow Roy is awesome' this morning but they all have the 'Roy is a cnut - why didnt we pick Harry' headline ready for as soon as we go out

hopefully Rooney will choke on his hair and not be able to play in the next game against Italy ... That way we can go back to playing like a team again and stand a chance of winning, rather than aim the ball at Rooney and pin all our hopes on him scoring

Last night was luck ... now fcuk of Rooney

Fierce lucky last night lads. I've been supporting England since we were sent home with our tails between our legs and I really hope ye do well.

You're our closest neighbours in the comp, so it's only right.

    Come on ENGLAND!!

Sepp Blatter has said that goal line technology is now a necessity. Such a shame that it's taken 2 VERY high profile fcuk-ups to finally drive the point home to him.

It was a good result for England last night. Not the deserved result by any means, but a good one all the same.

From what I gather, the only benefit we've seen from the 'goal line' refs is less pushing and shoving in the penalty area during free kicks and corners. How the goal wasn't given last night is a mystery to me .
