You scratch my back... and i'l recommend your insurance company

Right, if your reading this then your at least considering these guys for insurance,

    heres why they're better;
They know about Imports and even more refreshingly when you tell them you have one they sound enthusiastic and not like youve just told them you have sexual feelings for your sister,
I dealt with a chap called Luke, he was very knowledgeble about 200's and all the different variants, as well as associated modifications, it was like speaking to someone off the forum as appose to someone working in mumbai called "Alan".

I was with another popuar insurance choice, simply because they were the only ones who would insure me with the 180 prior to that and they had previously been the cheapest, that was until Sky took over a hundred quid off my renewal oh yeah

They also beat my renewal on my daily and said there was an option of getting the two together for considerably less money than i'd been offered elsewhere, however due to me being lazy and only my daily working currently, this was a little optimistic still good to know,

i'm not gunna tell you all my details over tinterweb, however im 26 with 3 years ncb, 3 points(sp30) and i had a lil fender bender about 4 years ago now,
180sx with coilovers arms welder bushes rims seats and stage one engine stuff - about 680 per year

    right now different tactic.
stop f*cking around with those lame as f*ck comparison sites. All they are good for is pop ups and spam in your inbox

Ring Sky ask for Luke, no stupid policy numbers or any of that guff,
i have been on this forum since 2007, i rarely get involved in internet shenanigans or trumpet blowing however sky were easy helpful and fast, they rang me back when it was convienent even though i left my phone at home, but then rang me back today and sorted everything in about 5 minutes

a welcome change from comparison site bullsheeet

I've been using Sky for several years now and they are always easy to deal with. If it's the same Luke that was there in August last year, he does actually have an S14 and IS on this forum! LOL

Christ I wish we had insurance companies like this in Ireland. The very mention of the word "import" is like telling them you have just given them AIDS...

Bugger them, they refused to insure me for no good reason after 2 years of Claim-less custom and wouldn't explain why 2 years running. Enough chances from me IMO.

Nout wrong with comparison sites, insurance each year takes me about 30 seconds - log in, nudge the NCB up one year, and hit re-quote

I love it when insurance companies turn out not to be dicks! Swift have been really helpful this week, they gave me an extra years no claims (I was about a month away from having 3) so I could insure the VR6 with them.

That Luke fella is a good guy. Sadly they couldn't get close to Flux on price for me. £350 more. I am 29 with 9 years NCB and no convictions. That is a collosal void of a difference in price.

Exactly the same as me, im 27, 10 years NCB, no convictions. 350bhp caged s14a. Rang for a quote, really helpful bloke and actually knew what I was talking about but was £400 more than my current insurer who isn't even a specialist insurer like sky or flux.

Dont be too disheartened - i only checked with sky after going past 25 as iirc, it was major ballache getting quotes from anyone let alone with mods declared, I dunno if age was the reason they refused you, yet in my experience it was always down to me being too young, for mods(insured), and for the record, i wasnt aware my driving style had changed much since going from 24 to 25
I cant imagine them not telling you why you couldnt be insured, as dunkz says ask for Luke, he's helpful i'm sure he'd at least tell you why you'd been refused.

Make sure you check your statement of fact when you get it, mine had a lot of stuff on it they'd made up including a complete alarm system my car didnt have on it.

Maybe but I was 20 when I insured with them for 2 years on the trot. If they don't want my business that's fine by me!
