    Car stalls on deceleration

When i am coming to a traffic light etc and press the clutch in, the revs fall down until the car dies. if i slow down through the gears there is no issue. even if the car is stationary and i rev it high and let off then it dies also. any ideas whats wrong here?

Do you have a hardpipe running between the AFM and the turbo and do you happen to have a cold air feed pipe as well?

I had the same problem as you describe, I couldn't source the problem and took my car to Jez at Horsham Developments, turned out the cold air feed was effecting the AFM thus causing it to stall and once removed the problem vanished. Also worth noting I never had this probelm until I fitted the hardpipe.

Thats why i asked about work around the turbo area Cloudy

But as that was a negative then im going to say a vac leak rather than the traditional boost leak.

Could be simply a dirty AFM? Pull it out and give it a good blast of contact cleaner and see if it solves the problem.
