OK so had a pretty special day last week, got a chance to go to a function at the Williams F1 Conference Centre at Grove, the day included a chance to your the private Williams collection of F1 cars and memorabilia. Basically for every year Williams have been in F1 they put the most successful car from that year in the collection, the collection is valued at about 50-60 million but really is priceless as the cars are in many cases the only examples of the chassis in the world!
All but 5 of the cars are still in running order, incredible!
Here are a few pics I snapped on the ipony;
1979 car, also Alan Jones 1980 champ winning car in background.
1986 red 5, rear left blow out damage repaired...
92 champ winning car
Senna's 93 winter car, has cut outs round stearing wheel as Senna complained that the cockpit was too tight for him
Senna's 94 spec car -RIP
Jdm tight, was light as fook!
Most have been 14j or so
Epic, epic day!
