Would they mind leaving a car on site?
Or even for a small amount of money?

I might be in touch about prices soon depending on what comes of this, I have a shed in mind.

Roughly how often will this place be open to cars?
What sort of price will they charge to let us on?

immy we need to have a meeting with the venue before we can give anyone any more information, this thread is more just to gauge interest in it.

    JUMANJI NIGHTS

For the last while we have been chatting about doing an essex arena king of the ring style event at Lochgelly motorsport complex and we are at the point of organising it. IM moving the thread from SXOC scotland section to TD as i can moderate it on here.

OK so me and kyle went to see the chaps at Lochgelly motorsports complex. and it went very well i reckon.

Ill start with the cash as thats important for everyone, they have come up with some prices which i think are reasonable. They have stated that if we can make this a viable event then they will widen the track at the side of the straights so it becomes more drift friendly..... but thats a way off lets see how it works first event and then take it from there.

    So the prices

    Drivers £30
    Extra drivers £10
    passengers/spectators £5

    Times

On Satuardays the track runs open stock car testing from 10am till 4pm this typically involves a few cars doing 5-10 laps then coming in. We would be starting our event at 2pm and will be running inbetween the stock car session for the first 2 hours. This time will be used for everyone to get used to the track before the fun starts at 4pm. At 4pm we get the track to ourselfs until 8pm at this point we can try get trains on the go close twinning etc.
We can run any sat we like as many times a year as we like.

track share with stock car testing 2-4pm
    JUMANJI NIGHTS 4-8pm

    Car/Saftey requirements
    A welded diff
    3 point seatbelt {ie a standard seatbelt}
a helmet for both passengers and drivers

As i said above if we can make this work then they will embrace us and develop the site. bear in mind they have acres of space and all the paperwork and noise paperwork already in place so the skys the limit. They arent to familiar with drifitng but love to watch it. In fact the invited me and kyle to do demos at the race meet 2morrow but were both busy.

    THE DATE

we have agreed with the track on a date of the SAT 28th of July i think this is far enough away for folks to get organised and choose thier weapon.

Chizfab will be doing a special deal on welded diffs for the event. Every driver ticket bought get 20% of a welded diff (£40 instead of £50* diff removed from the car*)

Our yard is around 5 mins from the track itself and we can offer storage deals as well as transport from our yard and back again via GTRNUTTER (k)

For the 1st event there will not be a tyre van in attendance however its something we can look at if it works out.

The surface is super smooth fancy tarmac so no horrible crail concrete here.

    Rules

The normal drift day rules will apply.

Anyone being a dick will be going home.
Anyone deliberatly smashing another car will be going home
Anyone doing static burnouts is also going home.

So we have a price A location and a date all we need now is drivers and cars.

for the 1st event we need a minimum of 10 drivers to make it worth the tracks while.

Whos in? IM going to make a paypal account soon to collect money but lets start a list. Your place on the list as a driver is not secured until full payment has been recieved.

The list is on TD in this thread
    http://www.trampdrift.co.uk/Forum/TD...002#post109002

that way i can moderate the list ect if you havent sighed up please do as thats where ne details will be posted up!

OK so we have 65 likes now. Im going to ask for 2 things. Number one is everyone shares this page with a bit of info on the event to boost numbers and second is all the drivers Pre pay. I have set up a paypal address. jumanji-nights@hotmail.co.uk and pre-payment is £30 as a GIFT. To encourage pay in advance and show the chaps were serious the price for entry on the day will be £40. So get sharing and get logging into paypal to save £10. Lets make this work. We are always complaining we need more drift venues in Scotland. Now there is one lets out our money where our mouths are.

Good idea, but is specifying welded diffs not just an income source for you guys? I mean, if I already had a two way fitted Im not going to be taking it off and swapping a welder in ............

Good luck getting the numbers though dude
