Track day camera in car mounting options

    Hi all

im borrowing a mates go pro camera to film my two japfest sessions next weekend, i have just read an article saying that you cant use the sucker mounts in car any more, so if this is true can anybody think how i can mount it inside my car? I dont have a roll cage yet and have stock seats in my s14a

can i just use one of the sicky pads on the base plates say on the dash? Or is that too not good enough?

Currently im thinking im going to have to drill a hole in the top of my dash to bolt one of the base plates to it.

    any other ideas?

I take my parcel shelf out and bolt the camera to the metal section underneath.
