alternative diff abs sensor heres the one i got

heres the sensor i got to replace the fecked diff abs sensor on mine.
apparently its a nissan rear abs wheel sensor.
the sensor itself is a direct fit just needs a longer bolt to fix it in.
the connector is wrong so i used my old connector to connect it up.
all in cost £45 brand new and is in and working a treat.
hope it helps someone as i had a hell of a time finding one.

    Bosch 0265006 usa 982 Nissan

Nice one dude, been looking for an alternative for a while now. Where did you purchase it from?

Hi, can anyone assist please, the part number above is not complete, it needs another 3 digits for the part.

Any idea what car this sensor is originally for? Need a part number, not a Bosch manufacturer number.

He say Nissan rear wheel sensor,so I'm guessing something FWD with a sensor on each rear wheel, primera, almera etc

After a quick search on eBay there is a few that look similar, but I can't say for definite what would be the right one as I don't have the original sensor to look at

I gave up with it in the end and bought a new diff. Tried everywhere, all the parts shops all the net based shops. The price from Nissan was stupid.

They all work the same way, just get a BOSCH 0265006 and modify to fit.

Lots of info out there about using cheap Citroen ABS sensors on Nissans etc.

Exactly what Actual_Ben_Taylor said, you need a Bosch ABS sensor with the start of the code being 0265006 from any car, cut the plug off and join it into the existing ABS wiring. I cut the mounting hole off of an old sensor i had, cut the mounting hole off of the bosch sensor (as it's very unlikely to be in the correct place) and glue the original mounting hole to the new sensor! Mine works perfectly, think it was a sensor from an MG TF or something

    Mega bump.

My spare diff has just gone to be stripped down and the sensor has crumbled in their hands. Nissan 47900-70T10 is out of production, so I found this topic and another topic on the net showing Intermotor ALS 1506.

Sticking Bosch 0265006 into Google throws a myriad of different options, but many look like they have a similar sensor end. Is this the case, that the ends are the same so you just hotch pot the harness?

Edit - the end of an Intermotor ALS 1506
