just paid 140 to tax my s15 for 6 months. But it does fall in to the post 2002 category as its an 02 plate hence the price diff.

£660?? Thats Insane. I need to tax mine by 31st may, is it possible to get it renewed before that day? It's parked up off the road anyway (driveway)

Yeah €660 if you pay all in one go, works out more expensive if you pay in 3 or 6 month stints

Works out at €744 if you get 3months tax 4 times.

Hence the reason there are not a whole pile of cars above 2litre here, and why we seem to love getting cars with weeeny 1.2 and 1.4 litre engines

A 3 litre would be €1683 for a year for example, or €1900 if you get 3months tax four times!

If it's the same as Ireland, you're shouldn't tax it until 1st June, otherwise you'll be paying for the month of May too.

So you want to tax it from the start of June? If it's been SORN'd, you'll have the option of starting from 1st May or 1st June, thats online, not sure about post office but I'd imagine it was the same.
