    Your name goes green
    But seriously:
Lots of trader discounts, discounts at events, voting on any club issues, give back to the club that gives us all a load of info and access to people who know stuff Its only something like 20quid so for what you get out of it its a steal.
And no word on hoodies yet.Ive been asking that for over a year now

i dont use the membership for much like discounts but it was important to me to contribute
i've been using sxoc for years for info and help!

As all the lads have said and You recieve a subsidy at events that a rep attends so if you want to attend a event contact a rep and get them on the case and see if they will attend, who knows we might be able to get a great discount from the organisers if a group of us decide to go.

You also get to see what goes on in the members section who knows you might be able to stomach it lol

Someone might be better than me at pointing out all the pros

Hoodies might be a touchy subject lol

Discounts with our traders and local companies (I know RareRims gives 10% discount for members which can more than cover your membership costs alone ) Subsidised local events such as car shows, rolling road days etc. Sure there is more but not 100% sure for peeps on your side of the pond

Hi Gas, everybody has different reasons for becoming a paid member. But for me personally, it was mainly to give something back to the club in exchange for all I've gotten out of it over the years.
I'm on the site at least once a day and I've gotten tons of advice, and assistance and also made some great friends for life too. I think that's worth way more than the modest membership fee.

The fee itself works out at just over 20 Euro (£18 STG) for the year, and each represented event you attend, be they car shows, karting, nights out etc, you get a fiver subsidy off the price, so you break even after just four.

Also there's everything else the lads have mentioned above (the members lounge is quality to be fair!). As for hoodies, there's a lot going on behind the scenes with club clothing on the whole at the moment so hopefully the new merch will be available before the show season kicks off properly

At the end of the day it's your decision mate, but what I'd say is it's only 40c a week, try if for the year, and make up your own mind! Myself and the other reps will try make it worth your while anyway (no sexual favours though...)

I should add, when the hoodies do come out, as a paid member you should be able to get a hold of one at a discounted price.

    We're good like that...

The amount of money I've saved by using the search button to find out things has probably paid my membership for the next 25 years. I don't really get chance to go to many events due to work and I've never really noticed the discounts with anyone but like has been said above its just giving something back.

Joining the SXOC is the most expensive thing I've ever done; I just can't stop buying parts for my car

    Worth it though

Ha ha that's mainly because you loved the people so much you've attended pretty much all the major events since you've. Joined

Great stuff. I was just thinking about you on the way into work this morning. Was literally about to send you a message to see if you got sorted!
