Ive used locking nuts and tabs and a genuine gasket.

A screaming noise would suggest its blowing..

Let the car go cold (so you don't burn your hand) and then turn it on and put your hand around the gaskets there, give it a rev or get somebody to do it for you and you should be able to feel it blowing.

Out of interest, have you ever driven the car WITH good turbo gaskets? Is the exhaust loud?

    In fairness, it can't really...

Unless your turbo face or manifold face is really bad and it isn't sitting properly.. Did you 100% remove the last remains of the old gasket. You need to do the nuts up quite firm and the gasket needs to be flat, therefore if there is old gasket there it won't work

Yea it was a clean surface before I put on the new one.

It doesnt blow under load, its just giving in under boost.

Ill go and gice the bolts a little bit more tonigh and see if it helps, just hope I can save this gasket before its too late.
