Hi all,
Recently got my car on the road, been running it in but now it's getting to the stage where it's able to be driven properly the boost seems to hold back come on hold back etc, I e just rechecked the timing, 2 dot on the crank pulley, exhaust cam dowel 12 o'clock, 11 teeth between the dot on the exhaust cam to the inlet dot, all good, the CAS lined up properly when it was timed also!
Mods I have are
FMIC
Walbro fuel pump
Cone filter
3"elbow with 3" system back including decat
S15 DBB turbo
The wastegate is plumbed I to the intercooler pipe that attaches to the turbo, I've checked around all connections on the FMIC all seems tight and holding well!
Thing is, sometimes it'll boost fine in 1st and 2nd but 3rd 4th and 5th its very hesitant! It will also never go over 4k revs in 5th
I'm scratching my head on what it could be, I've read about knock sensors and afms can lead to some funny goings on but do you think my cars symptoms resemble a knackered knock or afm sensor?
