Photoshoot gone bad... (cars, not birds, sorry!)

    http://www.stancenation.com/2012/04/...the-ups-downs/

I think the main problem here was that...
He also wanted to do some burnout photos with full boost, waste gate screaming & the whole nine yards

Sorry but did they blame the car busting into flames on the fact it had been sat up over winter?

I call bollocks, I've got a car that's been sat for 18 months and I do not expect it to burst into flames the first time I drive it.

The harness had gone brittle from the cold? Seriously? That is a pretty unlikely scenario.

The car is still orange ... Normally when you see after pics the car is gutted, the paint is blistered and the tyres have melted, they must have arrived on scene within five minutes of that catching, there is so little damage for a car fire that was put out

Must have been there very fast, as when a car catches fire it goes up VERY fast!

I'm confused by the purpose of that. Is he trying to trick people into thinking his car caught fire?
    Nice one bro.....

It's far more likely someone had finger trouble and didn't properly connect something, perhaps when changing the plugs...
Most people nowadays will try the unlikliest excuses rather than admit they made a mistake.

Link blocked here? Is it the orange FD by any chance? If so, have been told by a fair few people that the pictures are, errrrrm, 'manipulated'... I know nothing about stuff like that though, so can't tell.

Pics are too small to tell on my phone but reading further sounds like it could be some sort of publicity stunt for his new paintshop venture

    Is that right?

Well that would explain how the Firebrigade managed to turn up within a few moments of the engine catching

They don't like rota wheels in the US it seems looking at comments. Weird as they have a lot more sizes there than here.

And that's the point, this car had been stood up for one winter...
Also which door did the fire brigade wrench open as they are all wide open before they get there
