Third party?
Third party?
People DO insure these cars TPFT because they can't afford Comprehensive. They are foolish people, but it happens.
Also, can people not write FACT if they, errrm, don't have the facts it isn't very useful!
I'm intrigued to know the actual truth, but not sure we're going to see that
We've seen pics of a yellow S15 which doesn't appear to have had major structural work, or if it has then it looks to have been done to an acceptably high standard. (judging from some small phone pics) We've also seen a scan of photo of a yellow S15 which has plainly been on it's roof.
These are the only facts one can take from this IMO. I am struggling to see how they can be of the same car.
the s15 was insured 3rd party.
the man who bought it off the girl is a body work man.
there fore the cost of fixing it was brought down greatly.
the car was originally advertised for £7000 over here in n.ireland after he fixed it.
due to EVERY BODY knowing it was rolled the man selling it dropped the price to almost half of that to try get it sold.
as for the price of parts.
a s15 front could be bought over here for £800 thats including the headlights.
the cost of the roof for one would be approx £500 and a qaurter would be £300
now theres £1600 for parts before fitting and paint.
it is a genuine s15 spec r in yellow.
* unrecorded *
the body man seen a chance to buy it and make a few quid on it.
but it never turned out that way in the end.
i can provide the phone numbers of the body man and the previous keeper of the car who can clarify everything ive said.
when the body man sold the car he informed the new buyer that it was previously damaged.
I'll be honest, if I saw it for sale at that price I'd have bought it regardless. If it drives straight I'd happilly throw a weld in cage in it and give it death.
yes mate, the mans body work is next to none.
he has pulled a straightend some heavily hit cars over here in n.ireland.
every body over here was scared of the car because of the story behind it.
at the time i myself had 2 s15s sitting at the house and i was having trouble selling mine also.
the white one i had had been hit at the front and was fixed but was only a 2.0 n/a s body and the other was a spec s auto that was converted to a rb25 plant.
i tryed to buy the yellow car myself when it was damaged with the view of breaking it, but i missed out on it.
then i seen it in the body mans shed with no windows etc in it and he was just working away at it at his own leisure.
You all sound crooked as ****. I'm steering well clear of any car that's lived a single day of its life in Ireland. Flame on!
Now that is a mad comment, all because one car is now confirmed to all the non believers to have had serious body work, and look were it is now, mainland. What's that say about your cars its a dealer trying to sell it to you lot for twice the asking in northern Ireland, that's right northern Ireland. That Ireland paintbrush does my head in.
Now, who wants custard with that humble pie lol. Maybe believe actual forum members when they try do the community a favour.
I cant believe that the car in the advert is the same car as in the scan showing a complete write off
And there is not enough evidence yet to call it 100% the same car.
I've known Dylan(chopaholic) for years, hes absolutely the last person to ever talk shit about something he didn't 100% know was factual.
pictures of the drivers side door aperture looks repaired to me along the roof line,
I cant see it for looking now lol
Also cant find any record of the cars reg on the DVLA now either !!

ok. what reason have i got then for bringing this to peoples attention?
i dont want the yellow car, it isnt like im trying to buy it now and trying to put people off it.
i could buy 2 s15 spec r over here in n.ireland for the price of that yellow one.
im merely warning people of its un declared history.
Can lead the horse to water but cant make him drink it James.. lol
