Unfortunately the old tired, poorly maintained engine let go not long into the start of last season.

Matey sourced a full built, forged replacement that had been running something like 600hp daily.

    New Engine.

Gave it a clean, and a leak preventative blast with some VHT Silver.

Also received a Top Mount Manifold from 'Drift Products' I'Performace Australia.

And a Copy 3076 Turbo from Chinastan.

The Manifold wasn't intended for use with this Turbo, So decided to make a Clocking Plate.

    Test fitted.

    Milling the Surfaces after Welding.

Roughed out a Turbo Outlet Flange.

    And added a V-band Flange.

Just needs the Outlet bored to size and the Flange tidying up.

    Got an Elbow Tacked up.

    Made a Flange.

Then tacked up the Elbow to Down-pipe piece.

    Test fitted.

    Thanks.

Yeah I heard it was affectionately called the 'Ferrari Slayer' or something like that.

It will be slightly down tuned in this car.

We had a New set of Coilovers turn up from 'Drift Products' in the newly re-branded 'I-Performance' range, and they look really nice.

So we'll strip those down and get them greased up.

In the mean time, I modified the old Boost pipe for the new Turbo.

Also started piecing together the recirculating pipe for the Waste-gate.

Removed the whole setup, and welded up the tube.

Just remembered that it needed an O2 Sensor as it's road legal, So added a Boss.

We removed the Engine and Box as it needed a new Clutch.

Decided to bin the OS Giken Multi-plate, and install a separate Lightened Flywheel and Uprated Clutch.

And back in, hopefully for the last time.

Finished the Elbow, with Waste-gate and O2 additions.

Also added a little Bracing on the Manifold, just for longevity.
