Sleepy eyes with lights on

We all know the brown wire trick but iv seen people on YouTube swapping the light control fuze for a switch to stop the light goin up with the lights on

Tried it and my light still go up :/

Anyone else had this problem or maybe a solution

I use the eBay switch thingy and it's v simple and u can take it out if u don't want it. It allows me to turn the lights on without popping up etc, v easy to make and u could probably make ur own for £5ish
