ps13 (180 loom/running gear) key fob has weak signal,

getting tired of holding the key up to the windscreen to unlock the door!!!! is there a way of boosting the signal?

Same here would also like to know this, a new battery usually won't improve the range. I suspect that the problem may be the receiver under the dashboard, a dry joint, failed component on the cct board or generally just covered in dust. I probably won't bother checking until it fails.

I'm yet to meet a fellow owner where the range has been any better, mine's always been rubbish.
