    anyone fitted nitrous to a diesel?

    looking to fit nitrous to my golf 2.0 tdi has anyone ever fit to a diesel? any pointers for fueling etc

    I think propane/LPG injection is a lot more common on diesels

    I'm sure there was an old 5th gear where they fit nitrous to a mk3 golf tdi.

    I would imagine with the huge amount of torque gained from even a 50shot of nitrous it would kill your clutch in seconds! lol

    its the bkd engine in the mk5. its had a remap turbo back exhaust and pipercross air filter. just got to the point of wanting abit more now

    i remember that golf it was an auto too

    It's been done quite a lot and they take to it very well.

    Have a look at the forum on www.tdiclub.com

    Loads of info on there about everything tdi.

    Little warning though it will have you looking at new turbos and ideas of 350bhp plus.
    The bkd engine is a grate starting block just stick a GTB2260vk on it and your well away

    Up the boost more? Bigger turbo, I know there's only so far you can push a diesel before you need a bigger engine cant remember what the word is when you reach the point that you can't increase the boost :s

    thanks for that i'll check that out. been thinking of a bigger turbo might have to save up for one
