    Thumbs up for sxoc

Just a random post but I can really see why people stick around on the sxoc.
Each time I buy a new/ different car I always join a related forum, mainly for tech info and advice, but Jesus, every forum I join is full of morons, Chav speak, down with the koolkidz attitudes, atrocious spelling and grammar, latest one is a civic forum, even the mods seem about 14

    Anyway, long live the sxoc

Quick edit: just not to tar all with the same brush, fduk is ok

Honda Civic = Baby's first Japanese car.

    Civic forums reflect this.

I sold my S14 years ago, have tried lots of other car forums but none of them have such a wide spread of different people. You either get a chavfest, dull tedium or closed-off cliques elsewhere.

I agree with this, SXOC is by far and away the best car club I have been a member of!

In fairness it gets brought up at every staff meet, no smoke without fire and all that.

Just remember I still have the keys to the SIN BIN for the Weekender and I will make your life a misery

i think general politeness and manners set the sxoc apart from other forums, especially the likes of zilvia, driftworks etc

no-one speaks to anyone else how they wouldn't in person, you dont realise how rare that is until you visit other forums.

it seems every other forum is full to the brim with people who claim to "tell it like it is"

The ONLY other car forum that I use regularly is outlawjapclub - but that's because the attitude of the guys is the same here. Everyone helps everyone and no dicks to ruin it!

I've been on SXOC for years, but haven't had a 200sx for pretty much all of my time here!

Its a great club, I think the admin team have a lot to do with it, firm but fair I reckon, you rarely see these 4hour old, 20 page long locked rants on here because they get shut down early and told to go be idiots somewhere else straight away, and the people who stick around understand that and dont start pointless forum fires.
plus the sheer size of the club means the depth of knowledge here is fantastic for any subject, not just 90's Datsuns
