Yep APT. Check out their traders section on here. One of the most trusted and well respected 200sx Tuners in the country

Well the cars been messed up by another tuner, including a bodged build. Ive now done a build with decent compression on all 4 and good quiet running, now i just want it running without a misfire and not lean plugs.

APT Have said they dont really want anything to do with S13s. Theyre too old, theres too many things that could be wrong with them. Awesome.

Are those the actual words that A.P.T used? Seems strange to go from this:

I guess APT are in the lucky position to pick and choose work as they get very busy.

Its probably a case of if you took a S13 down there and wanted a set amount of work done then they would do it but they are not interested in sorting out cars that are not running right as it could be literally anything and at the end of the day its not worth their time

Doesnt take away from the fact they are still one of the best in the biz for tuning 200s (just look at Ken's, Colwell's and Actual Ben Taylor's cars.)

GDUK are traders on here, give Darren a call or PM an I'm sure he'll sort you out. If you need MB's services too then they can get hold of him

    MB = Martin Battye

Re: APT- I couldn't get them to do any work on my car. I thought Gary had just misunderstood what I was asking for but it seems he just sees S13 and turns it down

I won't point anyone else in their direction.

i gave you best advice i could, you have issues with fueling-map and we dont, never have done any thing with chips.

we dont get involved with s13's as much because a, you cant get live data only very basic flash codes. b, the parts on these cars are so old, wiring looms now are so old and brittle, cam sensors are worn and seized and afm's much the same

ill happly have a look and charge you for time bet i try to offer best advice for me and you , hence me suggesting jez with his abbility with std remapping

    hope that helps

I had a feeling Gary wouldnt just say 'fook off not interested'

If you have a jez chip then it makes sense to have him look at it or look at another form of management

Pretty much as Gary has said is what he said to me. Ive no doubt with certain cars and engines theyre excellent. The CA engine and S13 body are possibly not one of them.

So he wants to work on the easy(er) stuff, that's his prerogative, but this is a 200sx forum and there are some CA S13s. Gary PMd me and said i could pop down this weekend but to warn me about what he had said. I suppose you could look at it from the point of view that Gary is/was trying to save me money, but if you just know S13s/CAs and how to use a wideband, it doesnt matter that its got a chip from H-Dev. As the following proved.

As it happens, i happened across a company named MB Automotive, run by Martin Battye. Within 90 minutes he had sorted EVERYTHING out on my car, and i mean EVERYTHING. Went out on the road with a wideband, adjusted the TPS, and CPS, messed about with some breather and vacuum pipes, tried a couple of ECUS, Lambdas, checked Lambda wiring, car was dribbling water from a loose clip, Martin sorted that out (and it was in a bitch of a position) the guy is the perfect 'Tuner', i cant believe i hadnt heard of him, serice was just amazing, im stoked ive found a tuner who reeeally knows their stuff. The car now runs sweet as a nut and is a bloody hoot to drive. To think i was getting ready to kick it to the curb, and last night i just ordered a hybrid Garrett GT28R from Wilky at RS.

Martin does know what he's doing, I'd even recommend him for mapping. He maps a lot of the cars on Driftworks and those cars see a fair amount of abuse.
