15's are waaay cheaper in Ireland compared to the uk. There is some monster spec'd cars going for Peanuts now compared to what they would have being worth. Most of them get exported as they will go for more then what you would be able to get here.

And welcome Lolly, i wouldn't get to hung up on Ireland for cheap 200s, there's loads on your doorstep going for peanuts if you know where to look.

Aye, but a fresh import silvia will have a much cleaner shell compared to must uk 200's, and can be had cheaper in Ireland atm. On top of that, the market is on it's knees over here. I have seen some nicely spec'd clean 180's go for 2K from time to time.

This ^^ - sadly. Good if you're in the buyers' market though.

As an example, keep an eye on www.donedeal.ie & the motoring section. A lot of sh1tters on there but you'll find a good few cheap & good ones too. Carzone.ie is also another popular site. Gumtree.ie too on the odd occasion & very rarely adverts.ie for S-bodies.

Wow! Loving this thread! Finding lots of people not too far from me (myself and other half moved up here last year, just north of Boston) Keep an eye on the East Mids section too - most of the events seem to be near Nottingham but there's a few longer term members and (off the top of my head) 4 or 5 newer ones in this area. We'll be having various local events and the weekender is pretty close for us too Pay your membership (you'll save a lot more then the meagre cost by using the traders for parts) and get your name down!
