Runs rich and will not boost more that std 7psi.

Right, as car is off the road anyway, im going to tackle this issue...

My 14a will NOT boost over 7psi. I have tried with both a Gizzmo MS-IBC and a manual (off a known car to hold more boost). Have swapped actuator but not been able to give it full run,it just wont run anymore.

The following is installed.

Apex Cat back and flexi downpipe with decat
Walbro 255
Colder plugs
Apexi filter
HDev recirc

Now in past, the car has passed emissions with CAT on as they do, this MOT it didnt??? Im thinking Lamba sensor maybe. I know, not having a chip or remap doesnt help, but surely should still boost more than 7s right? Does have a strong smell of fuel at times as well... Fuel lines arent corroded and doesnt have any leaks.

I know turbo isnt fubarded as i done a single run without actuator plugged in and its boosted like a mad man. Then had to recheck for leaks!

Any ideas people?!?!?

best way would be to pressurise the system with a foot pump and have a good listen

Will try that, would unplugging lamda help rule anything out?

Ok no leaks after test....? Any ideas.
