Z32 300ZX in gleaming red. Ever since seeing one at about age 6 and marvelling at the quad exhausts, from then on, I loved cars long time. I still can't get over how good on petrol it is on the motorway, how many people stop & stare (despite it being nowt special to look at), just how solid & stable it feels, plus the fact it cruises at 140mph on part throttle, with the power to hit 180mph as it stands.

    W124 AMG Hammer.
Lotus Carlton (would have settled for a GSi)
Sapphire Cosworth 2WD (other than the reliability issues, a great car to own and terrifying when 350+bhp )
AE86 when they were £1k fifteen years ago
The Lancia Beta Coupe that was parked up for years in a driveway silently melting away. Quite liked the guy's Integrale too
MG Maestro Turbo (so rare, so fugly. I owned a 2.0 EFI for a year or so, it was really good, no kidding )
    Pulsar GTiR
    205 1.9 GTi
    S13 (not half bad )
    Fiat Strada Abarth

I used to read Parker's Guide constantly, weighing up the performance against the insurance group. Still got a dog-eared copy from 17 years ago.

Good call. Guy down my street had one when I was 10/11, used to backfire and fill the street with smoke.

    I thought it was amazing.

    Without a kit...

Bottom one is the original version - Top one is a later version as opposed to a 'kit'
Top one is also most likely blown

I much prefer the the early cars

I wanted a Mitsubishi FTO ever since gran turismo first came out, I was about 13 at the time... When I got to 23 I bought one, loved it to bits and modified it as much as i could but ultimately it was underpowered so made way for the s15. It was a car I had to own at some point and I think they deserve more credit than they get, it's funny because now, 18 years after it first came out, most of them are sub 1k bangers

I think me and you are of the same generation - don't remember the Hunter Tiger though.

I used to live next to someone with the sunbeam tiger

What you say is true. I probably should have said pre-facelift and post-facelift but over its 20 years of production it had more nose jobs than Michael Jackson.
