    Which couriers do you use? Parcel2Go have screwed me

    Also posted on DW
    Hi, I've sent parts to people on various forums and always used Parcel2Go I found their site and booking method easy to use. I went to their site this morn to get a quote to post the wings I've got advertised in the for sale section, I entered the dimensions as usual and the weight and didn't get any quotes, previous to this I organised delivery for the bumper I sold on saturday without any trouble and it's supposed to go this morning. So I contacted their support team who said they've never allowed car parts to be sent using their service and the items would be sent at their own risk! I've always been told by people to use Parcel2Go as it's so easy.

    I'm not looking for quotes and am getting some STUPID prices, so who do you guys use?

    Cheers

    Prohibited items:

    https://www.parcel2go.com/shipping-items.aspx

    Includes car bumpers and bonnets (so I'd assume that also covers wings)

    Yea I looked at the prohibited items after speaking to them and they also told me they don't cover any type of car part. Can't believe I was oblivious to it!

    They lost an exhaust that I sent last year through their site and Home delivery network. That was covered at the time and I think thats the reason they pulled out the stops to find it so they didn't have to pay out for my claim

    Ohh, I still find it a bit odd, I also described what I was sending too so surprised it didn't get flagged up! Really liked their site and sending stuff was soo cheap. It's still about £30 more using the sites I've been given . How new to this forum stuff i am!

    I had the same experience this morning.

    Parcel2go = £65+VAT

    Paisley = £14

    Someone on DW said don't use paisley now! an turbonutter doesn't rate parcelmonkey. This must be why people put collection only on their ads!

    I used paisley for 4 bumpers and 2 sets of wheels. No problems, except one of them missed the pick up date. They apologised and then offered delivery of the 2nd bumper for free. Their booking site also has car parts for options:

    Paisley Freight for car parts all day long!

    Haven't found anywhere that can beat them on price!

    I've had things go missing when posting and waiting for items to be delivered using all the usual suspects, p2g, dhl, interparcel, paisley etc

    They can all be just as good/bad/indifferent as each other tbf

    As with everyone else, Paisley Freight for large items. Parcel2Go for most other things, Worldwide Parcel Services for Europe etc and National Pallets for heavy stuff
