It's awesom, the numpties that buy low emission cars are normally the old and car park challenged ... Grouping them together is safer for my car doors

Surely people who drive those cars aren't going to spend much? And they aren't going to buy high profit luxury items, attracted by the nice shiny packaging. Unless lentils and root vegetables are suddenly a huge money spinner....

Disabled people are likely to be on incapacity benefit so won't have much spare dosh and their wheelchairs take up valuable aisle space.

Parent and kids, stick them as far away as possible to give the kids maximum time to play the parent up on the walk to the store from zone Z99, so they are placated with treats.

Men aged between 20-50 in sports or luxury cars are most likely to buy high profit items, like beer and ready meals. And those special wide disabled parking spots will be perfect for them, just paint a white line down the middle so they think they are straddling 2 spaces and even speed bumps couldn't keep them away.

They need another one for lazy cnuts that are all next to where you leave the trollies when you're done with them

What are they going to do though, can't see them enforcing it in any way, take away your Asda points maybe, or confiscate your chocolate moose.

That is seriously dumb I think. Discriminatory to people that drive a different car?

    That's a bit

I'd make a point of parking in those spaces

Mother and child spaces are just as bad.. my fcuking shopping weighs more than your kid!

I'd make a point of parking over as many of them as I could, while leaving the engine running and locking the door, in my decatted old 6-pot.

How many emissions were, um, emitted, while creating/shipping/building those signposts/signs?

The mother and kids spaces are fine. Agree with them. Lowers the chance of a stray trolley or pram meeting with the lovely straight panels on my motor.

Low emmissions zone car parking tho! Are they actually planning to enforce this! I all for saving energy where we can as this ultimately drives the prices of raw materials / natural resource, But shouldnt the tree hugging low emissions gee wiz driving shoppers park the furthest from the store? I.e walking the rest of the way and using less energy instead of driving round trying to navigate there designated snob space?

I'd be interested to see a survery of these eco drivers anyway. I bet most of them shop at waitrose anyhow...

Seems it was a condition of the planning permission

Thats a load of shite, fair enough disabled bays yea of course that makes sense...but parking priorities on tax bands of cars stupidest thing ive heard of from car parks IMO. I mean i cant go to ASDA due to speedbumps, but still if its just the principal of it!
